Studies on Child care practice and department satisfaction of child care student teachers

Abstract
The degree of department satisfaction and the child care practice with its teaching efficiency are the key factors to make a respectable child-care teacher, and the major Findings of the study were as follows 1. According to the survey results, when child-care student teachers choose the departments, ¡¯right aptitude¡¯ and ¡¯specialty¡¯ are the motivations for the infant education department and the other departments respectively, and the degree of satisfaction scored high for both groups.
2. Child care practice¡¯ must be improved where the other group of people from other departments considered the ¡¯human relationship¡¯ is to be enhanced. Both groups indicated that the ¡¯miscellaneous works¡¯ are to be improved. 3. Both groups make it clear that the teachers in charge supervise the practices 4. The infant education department scored higher in the degree of satisfaction regarding the child-care practice, especially in the practice contents and method direction. 5. Considering that the infant education department score, it appears that the students from the infant education department supervise with more concern and interest compared to other departments. Therefore the relevant departments should fully consider the quality and aptitude of each students at the stage of selecting and the other departments from which students are able to acquire the same certificates should try to develop a program for child-care practice education and actively carry out studies on the improvements of child-care practice methods in order to enhance the quality of child-care teachers.
